Winter Star is a youth education program providing young adults age 14-22 a creative outlet to develop character, leadership, and performance excellence through education in the performing art of indoor Color Guard.

Winter Star was founded in 2014 as a competitive indoor Color Guard program based in Winfield Park, NJ and is a member of Auryn Independent Performing Arts Inc. The mission of the program is to provide any young adult with the opportunity to participate in a competitive indoor Color Guard program while developing character, teamwork, leadership skills, and self-confidence that will assist them throughout their adult life. These skills will assist members in being better citizens, employees, students, parents, and friends because of all they learn.
